Klaipeda Port is Lithuania’s largest seaport, and one of the only seaports in northern Europe which is free from ice caps. The city’s port is a hub for commerce and also operates as a ferry port to Sweden and Germany. The city, located on the Curonian Lagoon which flows into the Baltic sea, is also a popular resort town.
